Terms of Use

The rules for using Rate My Form, including Pro Analyzer auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store.

Payments for subscriptions are processed by Apple. You can manage or cancel auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings. See the Subscriptions section below for full details required for App Store review.

Agreement to These Terms

Rate My Form (“the App”) is developed and provided by Ludwig Fernandes (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App.

By downloading, accessing, or using Rate My Form, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

Rate My Form helps you check exercise form using your device’s camera, a live preview with a stick-figure (pose) overlay, real-time feedback on whether a movement looks correct, and deeper on-screen stats during analysis. Pose detection and form analysis run on your device.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely as permitted by the App Store Terms of Use and these Terms.

Not Medical Advice

Rate My Form provides informational and educational feedback about exercise movement patterns. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Feedback may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Always use common sense, exercise within your ability, and consult a qualified professional if you have injuries, health conditions, or doubts about whether an exercise is safe for you. You use the App at your own risk.

Subscriptions

Rate My Form offers auto-renewable Pro Analyzer subscriptions that unlock deeper form analysis, progress tracking, in-depth analysis views, and session history, as described for each plan below and in the App at the time of purchase.

Subscription options

Title, length, and price are shown in the App and on the App Store before you buy. Current offerings:

  • Pro Analyzer — Monthly — length: 1 month; price: $2.99 USD (or equivalent in your local currency as shown by Apple). Unlocks deeper form analysis and progress tracking over time.
  • Pro Analyzer — Yearly — length: 1 year; price: $29.99 USD (or equivalent in your local currency as shown by Apple). Full access to in-depth form analysis and session history.

Prices may vary by region and are charged in the currency displayed by Apple at purchase. Free trials or introductory offers, if any, will be clearly disclosed in the App and App Store before purchase.

Payment

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-renewal

  • Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current subscription price.
  • You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase (Apple ID → Subscriptions), or as otherwise directed by Apple.

Cancellation

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals. You generally retain access to Pro Analyzer benefits until the end of the current paid period, unless Apple’s rules or an applicable refund provide otherwise. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s applicable refund policies. Contact Apple Support or use reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.

Free Trials and Introductory Offers

If a free trial or introductory price is offered, unused portions of a free trial period (if offered) are forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where allowed by Apple. After a trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid auto-renewing subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

Restore Purchases

Restore Purchases is available within the App. If you reinstall Rate My Form or use a new device signed in with the same Apple ID, use Restore Purchases in the App (or your Apple ID subscriptions) to restore an eligible Pro Analyzer subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App in any unlawful way or for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the App except as allowed by law
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App’s normal operation
  • Misrepresent the App’s feedback as professional medical or coaching advice

Camera and Device Permissions

Core features require camera access to show a live preview, pose overlay, form feedback, and on-screen analysis. Camera processing is intended to run on your device as described in our Privacy Policy. You may deny or revoke camera permission; without it, form-analysis features will not work.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, software, and branding, is owned by Ludwig Fernandes or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.

Third-Party Technology

The App uses Google ML Kit Pose Detection and other device frameworks as part of on-device analysis. Your use of the App may also be subject to Apple’s App Store Terms of Use and other Apple terms applicable to in-app purchases and subscriptions.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that pose detection or form feedback will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ludwig Fernandes will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App, including any injury related to exercise. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App or subscription in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or zero if you have not paid us directly (Apple processes App Store payments).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Termination

We may suspend or stop providing the App, or terminate your license to use it, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the product. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property) will survive termination.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. The current version will always be available at this URL. Continued use of the App after an update means you should review the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence and by Apple’s App Store terms where they apply to purchases, to the extent permitted by law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
